Applications
Bag filters are widely used in commercial and industrial HVAC systems where reliable, medium to high efficiency particle removal is required. Typical applications include air handling units in offices, shopping centres, airports and schools, as well as clean rooms, hospitals and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Their extended surface area and high dust holding capacity make them ideal as final filters in standard systems or as pre-filters to HEPA stages in critical air quality installations.
Description
Bag filters provide a large, pleated surface area of synthetic or glass fibre media arranged in multiple pockets. This extended surface design offers high dust holding capacity and long service life while maintaining stable performance over time.
Available in a full range of efficiency classes from M5 to F9, bag filters can be selected to meet specific air quality requirements in both comfort and critical environments. Options include 3, 4, 6, 8 or 12 pocket configurations and a choice of depths to suit most air handling unit designs.
Low pressure drop construction helps minimise energy consumption, while rigid steel or plastic header frames ensure dimensional stability and a secure fit in the filter housing. Standard and non-standard sizes can be supplied to order, allowing seamless integration into new or existing HVAC systems.
