Applications
Activated carbon panel filters are widely used in HVAC systems where indoor air quality is critical. Installed within air handling units, they capture gaseous contaminants that standard particulate filters cannot, protecting occupants in offices, hospitals, hotels, and commercial buildings.
For odour control applications, the impregnated carbon media adsorbs a broad range of volatile organic compounds, cooking smells, exhaust fumes, and other nuisance odours – making them ideal for kitchens, laboratories, printing facilities, and waste-handling environments.
In industrial ventilation, the rigid construction and high dust holding capacity allow these panels to serve as an effective and cost-effective pre-filter, extending the life of downstream filtration stages while reducing gaseous emissions from process areas.
Description
Our Activated Carbon Panel Filters combine a pleated particulate stage with activated carbon impregnated glass fibre media, delivering both dust capture and gaseous pollutant removal in a single, compact panel. The carbon loading is optimised to adsorb odours and volatile organic compounds without restricting airflow.
Each panel is supported by a rigid frame available in standard board or moisture resistant construction, ensuring dimensional stability under demanding conditions. Filters are supplied in 12mm, 22mm, and 47mm thicknesses, in standard or non-standard sizes made to order.
Available across a range of efficiency grades, the media offers high dust holding capacity for extended service intervals, making it a reliable and cost-effective pre-filter solution ahead of higher-grade filtration stages.
